TYPE OF TOURS
GASTRONOMY & OENOLOGY
If you like gastronomy, the north of Spain has a wide selection of great restaurants; in fact, it boasts of several of the best restaurants in the world.
San Sebastian, voted top food destination in the world (Daily Mail 10/10/12), is a beautiful city where you can enjoy tapas-hopping with the locals in the old quarter.
We have been organising gourmet tours with romantic dinners or lunches at some of the world´s top restaurants, meals in privately-owned listed stately homes or in famous wineries in Rioja. Crossing the border to France one can experience famous French recipes and visit exciting places like Biarritz, Bordeaux, La Rochelle and more.
ART & ARCHITECTURE
If architecture and art are your main interests, we can organize a tour to the magnificent UNESCO sites of Salamanca, Toledo, Santiago and Granada. We place strong emphasis on the architectural treasures along the route of the Pilgrimage to Santiago. Bordeaux, the Chateaux de Dordogne and Loire Valleys are our most popular destinations in France.
We can offer exclusive access to private stately homes in cities and the countryside to discover the way some people were privileged to live and perhaps still live. Hunting parties at private estates can also be organised.
CULTURE & RELIGION
If you prioritise cultural or religious tours, we recommend the Pilgrimage to Santiago, this being the most important pilgrim route in medieval Europe. We provide support vehicles and luggage transfer, information and route maps for this pilgrimage. Visits to Lourdes and other religious centres are other options.
